Linen in motion

An endless journey

At nooon, cotton goes on a continuous journey; it stays in motion, escapes waste and never disappears, always ready for a new life. A half-turn, Reverse Spinning technology as a counterpart to conventional recycling methods, with a wide-ranging impact. An endless cycle, made possible by refined technologies that allow fabric to continue to evolve even after seemingly reaching the end of its life cycle.

Journey

The fibre flow

1

End-of-life consumer textiles + post-industrial waste

The nooon journey starts with the collection of textile waste, both from end-of-life consumer textiles and from post-industrial waste, the cutting waste from manufacturing. Clear collection protocols ensure that old textiles are sorted in accordance with predefined criteria.

2

Sorting

First, textiles are sorted by composition (cotton, polyester-cotton and other textile types). Fabrics are then classified into colour groups. And finally, materials are separated into woven, knitted and non-woven.

3

Reverse Spinning technology

No harsh chemicals or machines that damage the material during processing. Instead, we apply patented Reverse Spinning technology to individualise the fibres.
